These two. Telluride. These photographers. This entire vendor team. Did I mention these two?? Nick and Shannon?? Add Rachel and I on flowers, design and planning and drop the mic – I’m out.
Seriously, this Telluride wedding is going to be hard to top. Shannon found me about a year before she and Nick said I do. She called me from Chicago out of the blue one day and said something along the lines of “We want to get married in Colorado and I like what you do. And you seem fun. Will you plan my wedding?” Me – “ummm – yes.” Then she threw the following into the mix “If you could get married in the BEST PLACE EVER, where you knew your friends and family would have the most amazing time, where would you do it??” I think I was already emailing Holli at Telluride Ski Resort to see what weekends they had open that September before Shannon finished her sentence. Long story short – Shannon and Nick are the best couple of all time and we loved every single minute of planning and producing this amazing wedding.
The bar has been raised for father / daughter dance and I challenge ANYONE to even try and beat this. Ribbon dance (think Will Ferrell – Old School) and they nailed it. Beat that! As always, a great big old thank you to Holli and the team at Telluride Ski Resort, Forged in the North, Shayla and Carmen of YX Salon and Tip Top DJ.
