This summer I was lucky enough to work on one of the biggest events I have ever created. My first bar mitzvah. What an amazing experience to work with an unbelievably amazing, loving and kind family on this event. Every time I sat down with the family, their house is always full of friends, I laughed until tears rolled down my face. Indeed, if you ever start taking life to seriously, hang out with 13 year old boys for 20 minutes. You will remember how to be silly . . .
After the service, the guests headed to the St Julien for an amazing luncheon on the terrace. We created a custom menu for the entire weekend that was 100% organic, gluten free and kosher style. And it was delicious! Kuddos to the amazing chefs that we were lucky enough to work with over the weekend who went above and beyond for each meal.
Are you getting hungry yet? That was one of the best parts of the entire experience, at every turn guests were treated to more delicious food. Not over the top – but thoughtful (and I can’t take credit for that part – that was all the family). That was the entire weekend. Lovely and welcoming. Simple, thoughtful and classic. And really really yummy. For the evening celebration, we headed over to the Boulder Theater (my new favorite venue in Boulder) for anther incredible meal, dancing, a photobooth, dancers, a dj spinning live and lots and lots of laughter.

I am thankful for the opportunity to have learned so much about Colorado farm to table events, gluten free entertaining and a whole lot about mitzvahs. We are ready – let’s do it again!!!
