I am BEYOND honored that event planning and floral design here in Colorado is my profession. I LOVE LOVE LOVE what I do – at least once a week I look at a member of my team and say “pinch me. is this really my job? i get paid for this???” And today – I got this email from the lovely Kristin (yes, full blog post coming soon) and this made my day. I am humbled by her words . . .
First off, I just left you the most awkward voicemail…haha! I hope you get this email before the voicemail 🙂
I just wanted to let you know how beautiful and simply incredible your designs were for our wedding!! The bouquets were GORGEOUS and EXACTLY as I imagined (even better!), you captured my vision perfectly, and everything was literally how I pictured my dream wedding. Your ideas for my table layout with all the candles were so beautiful and the centerpiece arrangements were just stunning. I started crying when Duncan and I walked in the barn alone before everyone got there because you captured everything I wanted so perfectly, even better than I imagined. I wished you were there so I could just hug you!! I even told CR and Tiffany that when I saw everything 🙂 It was just breathtaking and amazing and every one of our guests commented about how it was the most beautiful wedding they’ve seen.
You were such a dream to work with and so responsive, and I appreciate so much you really listening to my vision, coming up with ideas, and delivering it PERFECTLY. My only regret of the entire wedding ( and I plan to put this on a WeddingWire or Knot review!) is that I didn’t have you as my day-of coordinator. The wedding was beautiful and a blast and our guests all had the best time ever, but I will say that behind the scenes were *ahem* disorganized to say the least 🙂 (I forgot my bouquet walking down the aisle…yes that really happened…thank God it was in pictures before and after!!) Having a GOOD day-of coordinator is KEY, not just having any DOC…lesson learned!
Anyways, I can’t thank you enough Kara for listening to exactly what I wanted, making my vision fit my budget, and designing simply stunning and perfect floral designs. Anyone who hires you in the future is making the best decision they can for their wedding (especially if they snag you as their coordinator too ;)!
A HUGE thank you again- you are amazing at what you do! I cannot wait to see your designs in the pictures and re-live it all!
