E+M had the best winter wedding day at Devil’s Thumb Ranch. These two are absolutely, hands down more FUN than most people. E and I connected immediately over our first phone call. This hilarious southern belle was hell bent on bringing ALL of the southern charm to this Colorado winter ranch wedding. And charm we did. We teamed up with Pink Monkey to create a series of lounges and ceiling installation that we could only describe as “a spiderweb of awesomeness”. Apologies to the decor installation team – but y’all managed to reach into my brain and extract the ideas perfectly!
E + I (and her awesome Mama) somehow went down a Game of Thrones inspiration for this day. Full disclosure, I had to wait until I had seen the previous episode until I could call Erin back on Mondays. First we had to debrief about all things HBO. These hilarious coffee chats turned into my creating 2 entirely different design boards (one of fire and one of ice). E loved them both so we combined the icy neutrals with the fire-y burgundies and brought the amazing Bare Root Flora to design the florals (by this point, if someone was not obsessed with GOT, we did not invite them to play wedding with us.
