How much do I love a Colorado Ranch wedding? A lot. How much do I LOVE working at Spruce Mountain Ranch with amazing caterers (Occasions)? A WHOLE BUNCH. How much do I LOVE awesome couples who have an insanely good design style (and a full on obsession with copper) and design pretty things with March Floral Design, The Paper Guppy and Event Rents? Add photography by the amazing Brinton Studio, cinematography by the lovely Velare, glam squad led by Christina Trostel and on this rare occasion – ME as the officiant. Yes campers, I am now an ordained minister (those of you who know how often I tend to have a potty mouth will find this hilarious). Needless to say, I absolutely loved working with Julie and Steve and creating a pretty damn (there is that potty mouth again) perfect Colorado Ranch wedding day. Enjoy these gorgeous images…
Julie was such a dream to work with because she loved the details. Bright and happy flowers (yes, the last week of June is a dream here in Colorado) seriously POP against the super green landscape. Julie went bananas with Maura from the Paper Guppy mixing tones and elements on the print work. Once we started talking about copper foil – I knew this was going to be one of the prettiest weddings EVER!!! In wedding design – it is rare for me to get to play with darker tones. So mixing the darker wood elements with charcoals and pops of copper made this absolutely beautiful.
