Buena Vista is pretty much paradise. Now add a gorgeous new property called the Surf Chateau (for reals – where did this place come from?) and a couple as fun as Destiny and Chad and you have one pretty gorgeous wedding. Major props to Rachel (along with this awesome couple) for handling the rain like a champ and making sure everyone had a blast. Now – like a proud Mom, I am going to share the email that Destiny sent us a few weeks after the big day.
Hello Ladies, I am sorry this email is a little late but we have been trying to get settled in to our new house before we leave for our honeymoon on friday! But i just wanted to write the biggest thank you for everything. Working with you both from day one has been such a joy. I really appreciated how clear the communication remained throughout the whole process. You both were always so quick to respond to any questions and emails that i had and all of your responses were so helpful. I am so thankful that I found you ladies and that I was able to work with both of you because it really took so much weight off of me the day before and the day of. But i really have to brag on Rachel for a second because she did such an amazing job at everything. From setting up and working with the fabrics to setting all the in between details up. She had all of the timing and details running so smooth. Everything was taking of so well until it decided to start pouring rain right at the start of the reception. I decided it was better to move on with the reception then to all wait it out since it wasn’t looking super hopeful for the rest of the night. Next thing i know as the bridal party was dancing out in the rain Rachel comes running through the center offering wine to everyone. This definitely was a highlight of the night for me looking around seeing my wedding planner pulling out the wine when we should all be sitting under a covering sad that the wedding is being interrupted by the downpour. But instead Rachel knew just what to do. She took charge and made everyone feel so included and everyone definitely got a little happier when the wine came out. A few minutes later after i had to go take my soaking wet dress of because it was just too cold 🙁 Rachel comes running up to me and said- “Here you go, it rained on your wedding you deserve a floral crown.” Are you kidding me? She went into her hotel room and handcrafted the most beautiful floral crown making me feel like a princess. I was blown away. Chad started crying when you put it on me because of how beautiful it was. I could go into every detail that goes to show how Rachel is simply the best ever but this email would be endless. Seriously Rachel, I will forever be thankful for your fun, energetic, get it done incredible personality and talents. I was blown away by how well you managed the day, orchestrated planning and details, and made the not so fun things like the RAIN turn into enjoyable moments. I wouldn’t have chosen any one else to help me on my most special day. You simply were the best.

Rachel, Thank you for doing all that you did and putting your heart into it and dancing in the rain with us. You are amazing. I am so thankful for this team!
Destiny and Chad – all of the love in the world to you both! We love you to the moon and back and we wish everyone was as fun as the two of you!
