Amazing families – check. Incredible weekend – absolutely. Best rehearsal dinner ever – you betcha. Allison and Josh’s August wedding weekend at Devils Thumb Ranch was such an awe-inspiring bucket filling kind of happy — let me allow these photos from Brinton Studios to speak for me .
Instead of choosing a small rehearsal dinner or a large gathering with all of their guests – Allison and Josh wisely chose BOTH! After the ceremony rehearsal – Allison and Josh had an intimate dinner for 40 (immediate family and bridal party + dates) in the Timberhouse. And at 8pm all of the wedding guests were invited to a welcome reception at the Yager House complete with a spiked lemonade stand, sliders and mini-pies and did I mention the mechanical bull?
There are a million reasons to love Dallas – but these wedding guests took the prize. Kind, hilarious and ladies in 5″ heels – on a ranch. It. was . Awesome.
I can’t promise that you are going to love your wedding day this much. I can’t promise that you are going to BE THIS MUCH FUN. But if I have anything to do with your wedding – we are sure as heck going to try. Love this day.
