They say the grass is always greener, right? As I write this post here in snowy {crazy windy} Colorado, I am dreaming of sunny skies and warm beaches. I can’t think of a better time to share Andrew and Alba’s engagement shoot. I met this wonderful couple when they walked into my studio last summer. They had just booked the AA Barn in Grand Lake for a weekend of friends, fun, music . . .and a wedding on the banks of the Colorado River. After looking at some of my favorite weddings – Andrew and Alba picked Brinton Studios as their wedding photographers (and fast became friends for life). And the Brinton’s just happened to be heading to Los Angeles for a week in the sun ( I swear, in another life, I must have been a yenta!) I think just looking at these pictures made some of the winter wind stop. The way that these two look at each other – perfection. I am beyond excited to bring to life their rustic Colorado dream wedding. Maybe this should be a new thing – California beach engagement shoots + Colorado ranch Weddings or Colorado Rustic Engagement Shoots + California weddings. I think I may be onto something here . . .
