I believe that Dunton Hot Springs is a magical place. Isolated and lovely. Unpretentious but absolutely stellar service. Combine a location I hold so dearly in my heart with one of the kindest couples of all time and I am in wedding bliss. Amanda and Brett are who you want to be friends with. They are the kind. They are gorgeous. They are madly in love. I have a theory that Amanda actually may be Amy Adams from Enchanted (I kept expecting birds to start holding her veil at any moment). I am talking about that kind of magic here people.
When we started planning (which Amanda and Brett did sight unseen) we spoke about creating a weekend community. Friends and family were traveling for full days to enjoy Dunton and we wanted to be sure we had a photography team that captured all of it (not just the ceremony + reception). Enter Cooked Photography. I love Jeff and Jenn and I have been lucky enough to work with them twice. THEY LOVE PHOTOGRAPHY. Super friendly and wildly talented, they simply geek about their couples and destinations (case in point – Jeff in the hot springs at 2am with camera in tow). The end result is magic. We had the lovely Christina Trostel of Bisou Beauty as our glam squad and Rachel of March Floral Designs knocked these florals out of the park! Enjoy…
I loved this design for Dunton Hot Springs. I have a tendency to veer towards neutrals with an emphasis on texture and I think we nailed it here! A million taper candles in brass accented with gorgeous big peonies and tons of maidenhair fern. Not pictured here are the gorgeous blue and white patterned plates from House of Yonder that tied the table together.
Amanda + Brett – all the love in the world to you both!!!
