I absolutely adore this couple. I jump at every opportunity to work with sweet and kind people. I love that Giselle uses more exclamation points than I do (and that is saying something!!!!!) I loved that their wedding was a departure from what I normally design. And I love that I got to create the day that Giselle wanted. Let me tell you the story . . .
Giselle called me one evening last March. She said something along the lines of this “Hi, I’m getting married in September and I saw some work that you did in Brides Colorado and I have to tell you that last night I had a nightmare that my wedding only had a few flowers in mason jars and that they weren’t bright enough.” Now, honestly my first thought was -has she seen what I do? My next thought was – this could be really fun. Then Giselle proceeded to ask if we could meet the following day. When we sat down, Giselle presented an absolutely spectacular inspiration – colors of teal and purple, orchids everywhere, Indian Pattern scarves, parasols and peacock feathers. I jumped at the opportunity to work with her. I loved this day . . .
