If you have tooled around on this site you know I have a thing for remote luxury “rustic” ranches and resorts (if it isnt tough to get to – why go??). Brush Creek is simply the best of the best. I loved every single part of planning this destination wedding weekend with this incredible couple. In a new turn of events, it was actually the groom that interviewed me and hired me. I was already under contract when I spoke to the bride the first time. I was terrified! What if we didn’t get along? What if our styles did not mesh? I had nothing to worry about – this amazing groom knew that I would respect his budget and that his fiance and I would get along like a house on fire.
During our first call, she and I immediately clicked about EVERYTHING. Our lovely groom simply smiled and said “ok ladies, have fun, make it pretty and let me know when we talk about food and activities. There also may have been a gentle reminder that a budget is not base for spending”. The end result was a destination wedding weekend that was a highlight of my summer (and career). I loved this understated elegant design. I loved the planning and the site visit and EVERYTHING about this event. I loved this entire team. Most of all, I love this couple. More days, weekends and people like this please. Good people that laugh and enjoy the moments but remember WHY this all matters. The design is fun (of course) but planning a destination wedding weekend is about the beginning of a marriage and bringing together the friends and family that will support you two for life. M+R remembered that every day and planned accordingly. And THAT is why this was one of my favorite events ever.
A million thanks to the incredible vendor team that created this perfect weekend!
