Give me a Colorado Mountain wedding like this once a season and I will love my job forever.  Neysa and Scott were absolutely kind and sweet and had really really fun design ideas.  Neysa and Scott actually stop and listen to each other.  Neysa and Scott reminded me every day how lucky I am to do what I love!!  And they let me try a centerpiece that I have been dying to create.  Enjoy these phenomenal photos from the stupidly talented Paige Elizabeth (whom I clearly adore) of a pretty wonderful wedding day at Devils Thumb Ranch this past September . . .

There have been some pretty spectacular dresses this season but Neysa’s Monique Monique Lhuillier dress (from the lovely crew at Anna Be!) absolutely blew me away.  I mean – look at this dress!!!!!

My favorite moment of every wedding day that I am fortunate enough to be a part of is the first moment that the Bride and Groom see each other.  Whether that moment happens as the bride walks down the aisle or if we stage a “first look” like this shown above – this is what melts my heart every week.

I am a sucker for any couple who brings their dogs to their wedding.  Love.

Thirty minutes before the outdoor ceremony was set to begin – a fierce and chilly rain started dumping at the Ranch.  With the help from the incredible staff at Devils Thumb Ranch, we were able to quickly set the Timberhouse and move the ceremony indoors.

I have to share with you the world’s most adorable ring bearer EVER!

After the ceremony, the rain cleared and the guests were able to return to the warm and cozy Broad Axe Barn for dinner.  Burlap tablecloths, aspen teepee centerpieces, rustic lanterns hanging from the rafter – yes, this was absolutely my kind of colorado ranch wedding . . .

Neysa and Scott – all the love in the world to the two of you (and your amazing families).  Thank you for trusting me with the design and coordination of your amazing wedding.  I can’t wait to see you both again!
