I dare you to have this much fun on your wedding day. Enjoy the hell out of each other, your friends and your families. Laura + Dan set the bar pretty high for having an incredible crew, an amazing time and one of the best weddings I have had the pleasure of working on. There will be many many many more photos to come from Chowen Photography (for the record, they are my newest photography crush, amaze balls) of this little party we will pulled of the first weekend of May! A very very happy anniversary to Stephanie and Josh. I love this couple and I loved what we created for their wedding last May at Devil’s Thumb Ranch. But on a personal note, I loved this day so much because it was my first full planning and design wedding as Love This Day Events. Starting the new company was pretty scary – but I stuck to my guns and realized that I only wanted to create wedding days that I cared about. I did not want to do every single wedding that called – I wanted to pick and choose and work only with brides and grooms that I would become friends with. I only wanted to work on designs that were new and challenging and would push me artistically (yep, 288 mason jars suspended from barn wood in the Broad Axe Barn). Stephanie and Josh believed in that as well and jumped with me to start Love This Day Events. And for that, I will be eternally grateful.
Happy Anniversary to Stephanie and Josh. And thank you. In honor of you two, I am rocking my purple converse today

I love New York and I love actors SO when my phone rang a few months ago from Annie and Joey – looking for some help to plan a mountain wedding – I had a feeling that we were going to get along just fine. Every meeting and phone call (in the midst of a pretty amazing work season for these two) has made me giggle.
