Is there anything better than a summer wedding in Colorado? Only a summer wedding with PERFECT WEATHER + PEONY SEASON at the always stunning Devil’s Thumb Ranch. Kate and John’s wedding was an incredible combination of rustic charm and elegant deliciousness. We created a custom menu for a stationed dinner that highlighted Colorado summer produce, local cheeses AND a nod to Northern California wine country (where the bride is from). Working with the ladies of Plum Sage and Jamee Photography is always a dream and this day was absolutely STUNNING. Be sure to look at the custom illustrations on the invitations and the reception print work from Lana’s Shop as well. SIMPLY STUNNING!
One of my favorite parts of this day (besides the gorgeous floral and candle installations we hung in the Broad Axe Barn) was how close Kate is to her Mom. These two are so kind and sweet and when Kate walked down the aisle in her Mom’s veil…well, I will admit it…I got teary.
Guest Book Idea of the year (whoohoooo) – get a poster size version of your custom illustration from your invitations and have the guests sign it. Yeah!!!
Kate and John (and Cam!!!) all of the love in the world to you. I am honored that you trusted me to create this amazing day. And (of course) a huge thank you to the incredible team who worked to create this day including Plum Sage, Jamee Photography, Devil’s Thumb Ranch, La Tavola Linens, Charming Chairs, THE Kory Brunsen Band and Lana’s Shop.
