Planet Bluegrass is heaven. Seriously – this venue, set against 100ft redstone cliffs with the idyllic St Vrain river running through the lush property has long been a favorite Colorado wedding venue for the team here at Love This Day Events (even in monsoon season). We (along with the rest of Colorado) were terrified Planet Bluegrass would not be able to bounce back after the floods. Ohhhhhhh- we had nothing to worry about. The venue is back and amazing. We were so honored to work as Courtney and Mark’s day of coordinators and florists for this lovely August wedding. Enjoy these gorgeous photos from Julie Harris!

Kirsty was the lucky one to be onsite with this gorgeous couple and she summed up the day like this, “Courtney and Mark were one of the most chilled couples of the summer. The girls spent the day getting ready at the divine St. Julien in nearby Boulder, while the guys hung out on the sandy riverfront beach and enjoyed the expansive grounds littered with mature cottonwoods and apple tree. This lovely Bohemian bride booked their friend’s awesome bluegrass band for the ceremony and cocktail hour, while Soul X provided the soundtrack to some fabulous dance moves. The food from Blackbelly catering made our mouths water and was followed up with the sumptuous Sweet Cow MooMobile truck provided after-dinner dessert in the form of ice cream sandwiches, yum.”
