I met Leah 9 months before her wedding. She called me out of the blue and said “I want to get married somewhere awesome and I want you to do it.” Okay! We met the next day and I completely fell in love with this couple, their families and their outlook on life. After looking at the options and listening to what they wanted, we decided that Devil’s Thumb was the right venue. There were no Saturdays left for summer so Leah and Geoff said – “ummmmm, let’s get married on a Monday.” Why the hell not??? Give me couples like this for the rest of my career and I will be the happiest planner in the world . . .
A mish mash of turkish inspired and whimsical floral print rugs lined the aisle. A custom ribbon and airplant arbor anchored the ceremony and we used the floral armchairs from the lounge as thrones for Leah and Geoff’s Moms. Why not have thrones???
Wooden plank farm tables, a ribbon curtain that was to die for (and I am pretty sure that Rachel spent the night at Devil’s Thumb installing it), insanely fun patterned linens, bright and bold happy flowers, airplants on candlesticks, gold chargers, whimsical print work AND ANTLERS!!! We are obsessed . . .
