Andrew and Alba’s Grand Lake wedding was nothing short of DIY wedding heaven. First of all – Andrew’s father’s property is nestled up in the headwaters of the Colorado River (i.e. EPIC) And he did what most of us can only dream of – clean up the backyard (i.e. 4 months of MAJOR landscaping), put up a tent, hire a band (yep, Vince from Leftover Salmon was the ringleader of this hootenanny) and decorate to your hearts content. Since Alba and Andrew are Southern Cali beach people (surfers + San Clemente = awesome) we built the design around sea glass mixed with copper (and succulents). End result – the Elusive Mythical Colorado Beach 🙂
Why not add a bar made of hay to balance your hay bale lounge? Why not have succulents and sea glass? Why not? Andrew and Alba – I wish you both a lifetime of love and perfect waves :).
