Where did this year go? Somehow we are quickly approaching the first year anniversary of Casey and Nate’s spring wedding at Devils Thumb Ranch. I loved working with these two (and Casey’s Mom – who is awesome). Together we created a neutral color palette that focused on textures. Enjoy these lovely photos from Brinton Studios.
I loved creating Caseys’s unique bridal bouquet out of white anemones, silver brunia, dusty miller, majorca spray roses and curly willow loops. The tables were draped in ivory tablecloths accented with silver chargers and we alternated a tall centerpiece (a sandblasted manzanita branch with white floral clusters wired onto the branches) with a low centerpiece of white hydrangeas accented with seeded eucalyptus and spray roses. Add some rustic wedding details like vintage wooden skis as a guest book, round wood log slices on the tables and an old chicken coop door ( yes indeed, it really is a chicken coop door and yes, I still have it) and the rustic lanterns hung from the rafters of the Broad Axe Barn and we had the recipe for success!
