Rebecca and Paul’s June wedding at Devils Thumb Ranch was one of the absolute highlights of the season for me. Two incredible people, 2 wonderful families . . .this love is so strong that it can even withstand a very healthy dose of Red Sox / Yankees rivalry :). Paul even managed to sneak his Yankees pin onto his suit for the wedding day after being presented with a Red Sox hat at the rehearsal dinner the evening before. These are the things that make me giggle at weddings . . .
Honestly, this isnt a movie set. It’s what Devils Thumb Ranch really looks like in the beginning of June (and after the amount of snow we had this year – there was big, fun water eveywhere and the grass was an amazing shade of green)
Jenna Walker captured these gorgeous images of the day! Rebecca’s stunning dress came from the lovely ladies at Anna Be and Finders and Youngberg is absolutely my favorite new bluegrassband ever! After we selected a blue and white color scheme – Rebecca chose blue wildflowers (thistle and delphinium) mixed with peonies, garden roses and lisianthus. I pulled the entire look together is some soft gray dusty miller and I was in love with the entire design. Add some stripes and lanterns – yep, I was in heaven.
Rebecca and Paul – thank you so much for trusting me with the planning and decor of your big day. It was an absolute joy to get to know you two and your wonderful families. All the love in the world to you both. And Rebecca – tell your parents that there is definitely a sibling discount 🙂
